I just love the color of this geranium!!
It's in one of my friends garden.

I was so lucky that 4 of the 5 groups accepted this deviation.
Only one group rejected it (no names).
It was kind of them to explain their rejection to me (I asked for it)
"We feel that this photo is something that is technically well done, but that will be generally overlooked. In our opinion people will not look at it for details, not view it as a single piece of art, but rather perceive it as a kind of shot blending into a bigger context, or a background, such as being put on a bedroom wall for it soothing colours or similar.
We're sorry, but we'll admit that this is not the kind of shot we're looking for, because it doesn't stand out of a mass of other pictures.
It's difficult to give constructive feedback on this, as we all do perceive this differently.
In my personal opinion the depth of field is just too shallow (if you want to keep this angle of view), so there's not texture in the petals etc. Otherwise, to make it a shot that really stands out, I think that it would have been necessary to choose a different angle of view.
